Qualcomm Snapdragon Digital Chassis Aims To Shape The Future of Automotive

Qualcomm held its printing conference at CES 2022 to denote the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, a suite of hardware-software solutions designed in collaboration with the automakers that will power the vehicles of tomorrow.

With the Snapdragon Digital Chassis, Qualcomm promises to evangelize a " seamlessly connected, intelligent experience that is safer, smarter, and more immersive " for the bright future of driving, which will probably be driverless.

The Snapdragon Digital Chassis is comprised of 4 customizable and updateable cloud-connected platforms based on a unified architecture, that support a suite of rubber and digital features for the automotive industry.

The Snapdragon Ride Platform is an open and programmable platform that helps the automotive manufacture to deliver Advanced Driver-Help Systems (ADAS) Level 2+/ Level 3, and compliant with the New Auto Assessment Plan ( NCAP ), the regime car safe program.

The primal features of the solutions in this packet are: a portfolio of processors ( SoCs) and accelerators for vision, central compute, and automated driving, a turnkey Arriver based vision stack, a full fix of advanced driver help systems (ADAS)/Advertizement features within a flexible architecture that allows the automotive industry to bring its own Drive Policy, parking or driver monitoring stack, avant-garde navigation that tin be integrated with Arriver Drive Policy elements.
